Fair Weather

What to do...well, lunchtimes have been fantastic. Take today, ten degrees celsius a light ten mile per hour breeze from the south-east perfect conditions for an ascent of Ben a'Chlachain. I was reminded (at the trig point 624m) of the film Blood Diamond and TIA (This Is Africa) well today it was This is Applecross. I took a short video at the trig point today and a few photos from yesterday. Yes, I ran up it yesterday. Well, I suppose ran isn't strictly true, I huffed and puffed my way up it in somewhere around forty or fifty minutes. Still I console myself with the knowledge that it is about 560 metres of ascent in roughly 1800 metres.

Two days on the trot and it looks like the weather's going to hold for a few days yet! I don't know if I'll be able to keep this up!
